Current projects

Current scientific projects are accomplished by many partners from other research institutions and universities, involving as well field course students and interns.

Some long-term projects are running since years, others are still in a preliminary stage. The majority of the projects are accomplished within the framework of Bachelor-, Master-,  Diploma and Doctoral theses on-site, supported by experts from the respective institutions at home. Scientific projects at HYDRA are coordinated by our Dr. Miriam Weber.

Most projects have an interdisciplinary approach and leave lots of aspects to be worked on. This gives an opportunity for dedicated young scientists to collaborate and develop their own ideas. Every year we assist about 3 to 5 external BSc-, MSc-, Diploma and Doctoral candidates with their field work and support guest researchers on site.
